Background Information
Shinning Light Global Organisation (SLiGO) is a Community Based Organization that was established at the pick of the Ebola Virus Epidemic (2014) in Sierra Leone. During this intervention we protect children from sexual exploitation and Abuse. presently we are working with some of the girls in 8 communities inside Bombali District. We have some girls that the organization is directly paying fees for at vocational institute in other to empower them and for them to be self reliance .
Mission
The mission of SHINNING LIGHT GLOBAL ORGANISATION (SLiGO) is to ensure care and support is provided to orphans, less privileged, and disable persons through the provision of educational and social development. We also work with widows and vulnerable women in agriculture in other to enhance food sufficiency and security through small scale vegetable and rice farming.
Vission
The vision of the organization is to build a society that loves and accepts orphans, less privileged, street girls/prostitute and disabled children to attain healing of their emotional wounds, build their confidence and create space and opportunities to facilitate the development of their talents so they can live in dignity, respect and managing their own lives independently. We are also working with widows and women in the agricultural sector, for them to be self-reliance and be able to take care of them selves and children.
